VetTime · Online booking

Answer “when can you see us?” before you ask anything else.

Our own PIMS made every client build a Pet Portal account before it would show them a single open time, so nobody booked online. VetTime leads with the one thing they came to find out: whether you have a slot that fits their schedule. We ask for the rest once they do.

Why this exists

A booking page that asks first and answers later just generates phone calls.

What the client came to do

Find out whether you have a time that works.

That is the entire job, and it is a twenty second job. Everything else they are willing to tell you, they are willing to tell you afterwards.

What the page asks instead

Register, verify, fill this in.

Minutes of work before any answer arrives. Most people give up, and the ones who do not give up reach for the phone, which is the thing online booking was supposed to prevent.

The whole idea

Same five steps. We put them in the right order.

Nobody abandons a booking because a form was too long. They abandon it because they were asked to work before they got an answer.

Typical PIMS booking page

  1. 1Create an account
  2. 2Verify an email or set a password
  3. 3Enter owner and pet details
  4. 4Choose a visit reason
  5. 5Finally, see whether any time works

Four steps of work before the client learns the one thing they came to find out. Most of them never get there.

VetTime

  1. 1See every open time
  2. 2Pick the one that works. It is held.
  3. 3Enter a mobile number, confirm a PIN
  4. 4 We look them up in your records Already a client → pick which pet it is for New to you → take their details once
  5. 5Booked. No account, ever.

The first two steps cost the client nothing and answer the only question they had. By the time there is any work to do, they have already found their time.

How it works

Reads your real availability. Writes a real appointment.

VetTime reads your open times, holds a slot, writes the appointment and emails a confirmation. Everything else stays where your practice already manages it.

Your schedule, not a copy of it

Open times are read from your practice management system, so what a client sees is what your front desk sees. If the 2:40 went thirty seconds ago, it is not on the page.

Slots are held, not double booked

Choosing a time reserves it for ten minutes while the client finishes. If they wander off, it goes back on the board automatically.

Nothing new to administer

There is no separate online schedule to build or keep right. Block an afternoon, add a doctor, change your hours, all in the PIMS the way you already do, and the booking page follows. Your front desk never learns a second system.

Returning clients type almost nothing

A verified mobile number is matched against your own client records, so an existing client only picks which pet. A first-time client gives their details once, with no "call us to register" dead end, which is where most online booking quietly sends the people you most want.

Works where the client already is

One link. Put it on your site, your Google listing, your voicemail greeting or a text reply. It opens straight to open times.

Your PIMS keeps the record

VetTime sends one confirmation email and leaves the rest alone. Reminders and follow-ups go out however your PIMS already sends them, so every message is logged on the client record instead of stranded in a second system.

Where it came from

We built this for our own front desk.

Mountain View Animal Hospital is our hospital. We were watching people start a booking, hit the account wall, and call us instead, which meant the online booking we were paying for was generating phone calls. So we rebuilt the order of the questions, put availability first, and our completed-booking rate went up.

That is the whole reason every Vetware product exists. Tools that fixed this were already out there. Every one of them was another vendor, another login and another monthly bill stacked on top of the PIMS we were already paying for. So we built our own, then did it again for the next problem, and the one after that. Everything we built ships as one VetSuite at one price, instead of one subscription per problem.

A booking tool should not push people away. It should hook them with what they want to know, and ask for everything else once they are.

Part of VetSuite

VetTime is not sold on its own.

One price per hospital gets you every product we make.
